Bis-Tris Gels

EBL Precast PAGE for mini slab gel electrophoresis are ready-to-use, polyacrylamide gels cast into easy breakable plastic cassettes. The gels are individually packed in a sealed bag. EBL Precast Gels are available in Mini (8.5 x 71 x 1.3 mm) cassette sizes and the 1.3 mm thin gels 10 or 13 samples can be analyzed, the separation distance is 6.1 cm. However, the cassette gels are as well compatible with most popular electrophoresis systems, such as Bio-Rad®. Using the precast gels you can separate your protein samples in the presence (SDS PAGE) or absence (native PAGE) of SDS. The main benefits of EBL precast gels are the superior separation performance, longer shelf life and the overall easy handling.
EBL Precast Gels provided two gel buffer systems: Bis-Tris and Tris-Acetate precast Gels. EBL Bis-Tris Precast Gels are used in either MES or MOPS buffer for MINI size or MIDI size proteins separation, respectively.
Tris-Acetate Precast Gels is used with EBL TAS Running buffer for Large proteins size.
